It’s going to be a while for Dragon Age fans to get their fix: It seems Dragon Age 3 is going to be under wraps until 2014, and you’re going to need a next gen console to play it.

Earlier this year, Electronic Arts announced that they would be pushing an unnamed game back to 2014, and chances are this is it.

The LinkedIn profile (viewable to premium users only) of an EA Shanghai designer, Tao Gu, posted the following on his CV:

“Scope of the DAIII has been changed [sic], which will target next gen platform and will be postpone to 2014.”

So, yeah. Dragon Age 3 is definitely the game EA announced they would be pushing back.

DA3 was officially revealed back in September, under the full name Dragon Age 3: Inquisition. Executive produce Mike Darrah claims the game has already been in development for around two years already. It seems they have another year to go.

Time to play the waiting game. At least you have enough time to figure out which next gen console you’ll be investing in.
