Dragon Quest of the Stars features character customization where players can tailor their character’s gender, appearance, and name, which can also be changed at any time after creation. As players work through the game, they’ll eventually unlock the ability to change their vocation the Dragon Quest version of Class to one they prefer.

Like many other Dragon Quest games, Dragon Quest of the Stars also features a turn-based battle system where players can use powerful skills and spells to fight monsters and create combos by chaining them together. Boss monsters also have their own set of skills, so players will have to be more careful during boss fights than they might usually be if they want to survive.

Players can also team up with each other in parties of up to four characters to aid each other in their quests.

When not battling monsters, players can swipe, rotate, and zoom their way around the planet, collecting plenty of items along the way by finding sparkles on the map as well as by opening treasure chests.

Dragon Quest of the Stars is now available internationally on iOS via the App Store and Android via Google Play.
