D&D Honor Among Thieves gets a Secret Lair set for MtG.

Dungeons and Dragons has a lot of new content coming out in the next few months, including another Magic: The Gathering collaboration. The Secret Lair set features all six main party members from the new movie, Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves and will release on March 31, 2023.

The Secret Lair character set comes with seven cards, one for each party member, except Doric, who has an extra card for her Owlbear wild shape. The set can be pre-ordered now, choosing from the foil version for $49.99 or the non-foil version for $39.99. The exclusive drop ends on April 23, 2023, with a countdown located at the top of the order page.

These are the cards in the Secret Lair set:

  • Edgin, Larcenous Lutenist: Blue/Red Card
  • Xenk, Paladin Unbroke: White Card
  • Simon, Wild Magic Sorcerer: Blue Card
  • Forge, Neverwinter Charlatan: Black Card
  • Hoiilga, Relentless Rager: Red Card
  • Doric, Nature’s Warden: Green Card
  • Doric, Owlbear Avenger: Green Card

The cards feature a range of abilities and costs, lending themselves to multiple deck builds. Both Doric cards are meant to be used together to play off her ability to transform and unlock her full potential. Each character ability focuses on the class they are in the movie, as well as their personality, like Xenk having a Paladin aura or Holga giving other creatures an attack boost until the end of the turn.

This is not the first collaboration between D&D and MtG, as they have the same parent company. With the recent increase in players for D&D and the success of Honor Among Thieves, future collaborations could be in the works.
