Dying Light: The Following Announces First Community Event

Details on how to win a Gold Buggy in Dying Light: The Following.

Techland’s surprise hit of 2015 Dying Light: The Following recently unveiled the details on their first community event. On the weekend of March 19th, players are encouraged to participate in the game’s zombie genocide by running down five million zombies in the game’s recently added area using the new buggy. Fortunately, you won’t have to do this alone, as everyone who participates will have their kills saved to the tracker that you can check out here.

Everyone who participates in the event will be rewarded a special weapon docket, and if players are able to successfully grind those five million zombies to paste under their cars, everyone who helped reach the goal will receive a sweet new golden paint job for their cars.

Executive producer Tymon Smektala also stated that there will be some improvements to player’s vehicles during the weekend.

“We’re giving the buggy some extra hitting power during the event, so smashing zombies will be even more fun. Make sure to give it a try!”

Due to the short time frame Techland has allotted for this event, it is likely that community bounties will be fairly frequent. Personally I can’t wait to go back to Harran to finish leveling up my car, especially if it means I get to gold-plate that bad boy.
