EA hosts a livestream to pay tribute to those affected by the Jacksonville shooting.

On August 26, tragedy struck in Jacksonville, Florida, when a shooting occurred at the GLHF gaming bar during Southeastern Qualifier for the Madden 19 Championship Series. The suspect shot and killed two players, 27-year-old Taylor “spotmeplzzz” Robertson and 22-year-old Eli “trueboy” Clayton. He injured another 11 before taking his own life.

As a way to help bring the community together, EA has announced a livestream tribute to pay respect to those who were killed and injured in the attack. The benefit will also raise money to help those effected.

The 90-minute stream will be streamed on YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, Twitch, and Mixer. The broadcasts will begin today at 5 p.m. EDT / 2 p.m. PDT.

Those wishing to donate to the cause can do so on EA’s GoFundMe page, which has raised over $1 million as of this writing.
