What the heck?
So I’m gonna be honest here. I have no idea what this is supposed to be, aside from the standalone expansion to Far Cry 3. Apparently, the guys over at Ubisoft have decided to take things in an alternate direction. Like, back in time. It’s sporting an odd neo-80’s look, and I swear I saw something that looked a bit like Metroid Prime in there for a second.
What do we have to expect from this X-pack?
I have no clue, that much is for sure, but if I had to hazard a guess it’d be some kind of trippy sci-fi side story involving crazy technology and maybe even aliens. It’s eighties themed so anything is possible, the skies were the limit story wise in those days. It kind of reminds me of the game Hotline Miami, which had that eighties style flair going for it. Not a bad thing, considering with eighties style means bright colors, something the industry is lacking. I’ll have more as soon as the information is leaked!
