What do you get when you mix the simple-cute visuals of Theatrhythm with classic Final Fantasy gameplay and social networking? Final Fantasy: Airborne Brigade seems to be this mix, with all of the above and more — and it’s coming this way.

The game is known as Final Fantasy Brigade in Japan and Korea, and has over three million registered users in those regions. The Japanese version currently has 29 job classes to choose from.

The official site doesn’t say much, but it does allow you to sign up for when the game is released. Doing so now will net you Final Fantasy VII‘s Cloud Strife to help you through some stages of the game.

There is no official word on when Final Fantasy: Airborne Brigade will be coming to English iOS and Android devices, but it shouldn’t be far off considering the sign up site.

As there is no official English media surrounding Airborne Brigade (2spooky), have a Japanese video showing off many of the games features. It looks fun, I have to say.
