Godus Available for Pre-Order and Early Access on Steam

Godus is now available on Steam for Early Access and Pre-Order. Become a God and sculpt a civilization and world.

There’s a new game on Steam called Godus, available for pre-order and early access. If you couldn’t tell by the name, you play the role of a God helping develop a civilization. But it just doesn’t end there; with multiplayer capabilities you can have God wars against your friends. This indie game is sure to take the cake when the holidays roll in.

How do you help develop the Civilization?

Being a God in Godus, you will be able to shift the land to your liking, and sculpt it so your followers reproduce and population grows. As you gain more followers that have faith in you and believe, you’ll gain more power and become the most bad-ass God around.

While also shaping the world, you can bestow technology upon them, and bring them through the ages. By doing so you must collect cards: God Cards, Resource Cards, and Advance Cards. Using them, you may level up into a new era. Don’t forget, with great power comes great responsibility. You’ll have ‘God powers’ such as Meteor and Beautify, which will help shape your civilization.

How does this multiplayer work?

When working with the multiplayer aspect, you will lead your followers into battles against friends and foes. During these battles your followers must defend your name, and fight in your honor. But you may also help by shooting God powers from the heavens. Conquering more lands will give you more power, and give more land to your followers.

All in all, this game seems pretty amazing for its simulation. Who wouldn’t want to be a God and fight your friends in glorious battles? You can for the price of $19.99 on Steam, which includes the early access, full game, and any updates that come along the way. I know I’ll be picking up the game ASAP, and I can’t wait to try it out.
