Two new playable characters have been added to the roster in Granblue Fantasy: Relink. Fans of the series can now pick from Zeta and Vaseraga as their character when the game releases to PS4 and PS5 sometime during winter 2023. Here’s what we know about the new characters.
Both Zeta and Vaseraga have made previously made their debut in the series, hailing from Granblue Fantasy: Versus. As playable characters in the fighting game, the duo is often seen together, even sporting matching Jack-o’-lantern costumes with each other.
Vaseraga is completely covered with ebony armor and wields a giant scythe. It’s said that he was once clung to by numerous shadows that caused him to sin repeatedly. He donned his dark armor as a symbol of his fall from grace.
Zeta is the polar opposite of Vaseraga when it comes to appearance, with her blonde hair, blue eyes and fair skin. Don’t let her timid appearance fool you, however, as she’s a veteran warrior known for hunting only the toughest targets, one of them Vaseraga himself.
Whether you decide to play Zeta, Vaseraga, or one of the unannounced characters, you’ll still end up traveling around the Sky Realm. Most of the story takes place in the Zegagrande Skydom and revolves around the Church of Avia. Looking to protect the Sky Realm from a disastrous fate, you and up to three others, will fight through new adventures even beyond that of the Sky Realm.
