Grand Theft Auto V Mod Opens Up Buildings For Exploration

Modder opens up the interiors to buildings all over GTA V, creating the best mod to date.
This article is over 9 years old and may contain outdated information

It hasn’t taken that much time for modders to streak to break into the PC release of GTA V and have all sorts of fun. There have been mods that turn bullets into cars, allow for personal flying, and even put the entire city underwater. However, modder NewTheft(TaazR) created what I consider to be the best mod to date – and all it does is open up the interiors for many buildings across Los Santos.

What this mod has done is allow the player to freely walk in and out of the front doors of 32 new buildings throughout the game. Some of these buildings are places that were only accessible during story missions, and others are areas that were cut from the final release and just left behind a locked door. The craziest part about this is mod that a majority of these buildings are populated with NPCs .

There is an issue with some buildings that didn’t come with operable doors, so the modder simply set it up to teleport you inside when you stand in front of the door, but this doesn’t take away from the fact that you can explore areas never seen before.
