For those of you who have not played the first game before, Guild Wars is a massively multiplayer online (MMO) game and Guild Wars 2 is the sequel to the series by ArenaNet. Guild Wars is not your typical subscription game where you pay monthly fees to play. Instead, it’s a buy to play game. This means that you buy it once and you play it for however long you want.
Some of the Many Things to Expect
- The controls and movement are significantly changed.
- A heavily modified game engine. This means means better detailed environments, lighting, shadows, etc.
- New playable races. The five playable races are: Human, Asura, Charr, Norn, and Sylvari.
- The level cap is now 80 instead of 20.
