Guilty Gear Strive Trailer Shows Off Bedman? and New Stage, Season 3 Planned

Guilty Gear Strive is getting new characters, new stages, and a new season of DLC.

Arc World Tour 2022 has wrapped, and Guilty Gear Producer Ken Miyauchi and Series Creator Daisuke Ishiwatari have announced what’s next for Guilty Gear Strive. The biggest reveal came in the form of a trailer for Bedman?, but fans will also be getting a new stage and more DLC. The team also shared a tease for what could be the return of a major antagonist.

While Bedman? would appear to be a returning character from Guilty Gear Xrd Rev 2, the original Bedman died during that game, and this character looks to be a young girl. While Ishiwatari was tight-lipped on information about the character, this is likely Delilah, the original Bedman?’s sister, who has previously appeared in Guilty Gear Strive‘s story mode.

In addition to the reveal of Bedman?, Guilty Gear Strive will also be getting a new stage, Fairy’s Forest Factory, potentially a new take on Dizzy’s stage. Interestingly, Dizzy hasn’t appeared in Guilty Gear Strive yet, so the addition of the stage may also tease her arrival later on, but we’ll have to wait and see.

If you own the Season 2 DLC Pass for Strive, you’ll receive both when they release on April 6, 2023. Otherwise, you can buy them for $6.99 and $1.99, respectively.

In addition to those reveals, the end of the trailer also teases Strive‘s next character, which looks to be Asuka R. Kreuz, or That Man, who has long been one of the series’ antagonists but takes on a new role in Strive.

Finally, Ishiwatari announced that a third season of DLC was in development, which means more characters, more stages, more balance updates, and maybe some other surprises, too. No further information or release window was shared for that next batch of content. Stay tuned for more updates.
