Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN- Announced at Arc System Works Festival

Finally, a new Guilty Gear!
This article is over 11 years old and may contain outdated information

This last weekend has been great for Arc System Works fans the world over. First there was news of a BlazBlue anime being released and now there is the trailer for the newest iteration in their other big fighting game franchise: Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN-.

When you watch the Guilty Gear trailer, the first thing you should pay attention to is the fact that Unreal is used for this game. The character models are in 3D, it seems, but they look oh so deliciously 2D. It’s Arc System, though, so the game is guaranteed to look amazing.

The next thing you will want to pay attention to is the characters: the most obvious two are Sol Badguy and Ky Kiske. Towards the end of the trailer, though, we get to see not only Milia Rage, but as the camera zooms in on her pupils we get to see Eddie, as well.

The trailer was shown at the Arc System Works Festival at the Yokohama Pacifico in Japan. There seems to be no information about which platforms Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN- will be released on, but it’s safe to assume it will be on either the PS3 or PS4 at the very least. Stay tuned for more information.
