This does bring an old, yet new, element to the game as it has been 5 years since a Guitar Hero game has been released. Unfortunately, only guitar and lyric mode will be available for Guitar Hero Live, unlike in some previous titles where the full band was playable.

During the behind the scenes trailer, the campaign for the game is explained in further detail and we get a peek into how they filmed the crowds for the campaign. It is really an amazing feat and a great twist to revitalize the franchise in the next-gen era.

The video diary included has a ton of new information on the upcoming title.

Guitar Hero Live is set for release October 20th for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Wii U, Xbox 360, Xbox One and will also be available on some mobile devices.
