Looking forward to Halo 5 Guardians? Well you have several new multiplayer options to get excited about. Xbox announced the new Spartan Companies feature on their YouTube account today. This addition will change how players participate in multiplayer.
Halo has always had a robust multiplayer mode with a strong following. Spartan Companies are groups created by players that want to customize their multiplayer experience. Players will be able to join or recruit other players into their companies from the Halo waypoint website. Spartan companies allow players to play with who they want to play with. Whether you are a competitive player looking for arena matches, or just a casual player looking for some war zone play, finding similar players will now be far easier and more entertaining.
Players may browse for existing companies or configure their searches for specific types. Not finding anything that matches your style? Then start your own company. Being part of a company gives up to 100 members access to private forums. Here they can schedule matches or discuss strategy. Members will be able to compare armor customizations, load outs, and stats with other members.
Players who join or create a Spartan Company will receive a free rec pack once their company has four or more members. Customize the look of your company by creating emblems, banners, and mottos. Players will only be able to sign up for one company at a time, so choose wisely.
