The Winds of Anthos is set to deliver a brand-new Harvest Moon experience this September.

Natsume Inc. has finally released an official trailer for Harvest Moon: The Winds of Anthos, now confirmed to launch later this summer. The trailer showcases just over two minutes of footage, revealing a handful of gameplay elements franchise fans have come to love. It also shows several new features sure to please even longtime players. This includes tried and true staples like farming, romance, and homemaking, with the addition of new bachelors and bachelorettes, exotic animals, and more.

One of the most beloved aspects of Harvest Moon titles is the myriad romance options available, and The Winds of Anthos will deliver a new set of potential suitors for us to romance. We haven’t yet received any details about the title’s newly introduced love interests, but The Winds of Anthos will offer up five new bachelors and five new bachelorettes, providing hopeful players with plenty of options in their romantic pursuits.

In addition to traditional farm animals to bond with and care for, The Winds of Anthos will give you the opportunity to take in exotic animals as pets. We caught a glimpse of several of these animals in the new trailer for the game, including camels, Asian black bears, reindeer, and what appear to be large lizards. While they weren’t featured in the footage, it’s also been confirmed that you’ll encounter wolves and Bengal tigers in the upcoming Harvest Moon entry.

As you settle into your new home in Providence Village, you’ll be able to partake in various events and festivals, including mini-games like agility trials and races for pets such as dogs and horses. In the trailer for The Winds of Anthos, we got our first look at these events, which range from concerts to luaus.

Like Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life, The Winds of Anthos will feature a camera function to photograph memorable moments in the game. This will also feature a selfie mode, allowing you to get in on the fun and revisit your favorite photos later.

The launch of the trailer for The Winds of Anthos follows shortly after the release of Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life, a remake of the beloved 2004 Harvest Moon title. The recent release has rightfully earned the approval of fans, both new and old, backing the upcoming installment with greater excitement.
