Heat Things Up: Ken Masters’ redesign revealed for Street Fighter V

At San Diego Comic-Con, Capcom released the reveal trailer for their newest Street Fighter V combatant, Ken Masters. While the other Street Fighter II veterans have remained constant in their design. Capcom has given Ken a massive re-design.

While he still has his signature blonde hair. Ken now has an overall older and more grizzled look. He also sports a new hairstyle, and a new black and red outfit.

While Ken’s basic “shoto” skills (Hadoken, Shoryuken, etc.) are kept intact, he now boasts a host of new skills that seem to hint at Ken being a powerful offense-oriented character. A flaming dive kick, a flame counter, and flame dash are just a few of the new abilities given to Ryu’s one-time clone.

At the end of the video an eighth character, who some fans believe is E. Honda, is briefly shown off, giving fans another reason to be excited for the PlayStation exclusive.

Street Fighter V is due for an early 2016 release. And has a PS4 Beta coming up on July 23!
