Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice Gets An Official Release Date

Originally announced in 2014 at Gamescom during the PlayStation media briefing, Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice now has a release date. Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice is planned to be released on August 8.

Exclusive pre-order bonuses have also been announced. Players who pre-order Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice from the PlayStation Store will be able to download a special dynamic theme, while players who pre-order the PC version of the game will be able to download Valiant Entertainment’s digital comic, Hellblade: Senua’s Song

Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice, follows the warrior Senua (Melina Juergens) as she journeys through an underworld filled with psychological manifestations of her own creation. Many aspects of the game’s story are based on Celtic and Norse mythology.

Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice will be released digitally on PlayStation 4 and PC via GOG and Steam for $29.99 on August 8.
