Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition Release Details

In a recent PlayStation Blog post, Mathijs de Jonge, Game Director at Guerilla, shared more details. These were revealed alongside news of the upcoming Complete Edition for the game. In that post, it was revealed that Horizon Forbidden West will release on PC sometime in early 2024. It will be available through Steam and the Epic Games Store (EGS).

Further, this version of HFW will be the complete edition of the game, including the Burning Shores DLC. Though there’s still time to wait, you can currently wishlist it on Steam and EGS. No price point for the PC version has been shared as of this writing. Though the PS5 version of the Complete Edition will retail for $59.99 when it releases on October 6, it’s possible the PC version will be priced lower. The Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition retails on Steam for $49.99.

  • Digital art book
  • Horizon Zero Dawn Vol. 1: The Sunhawk digital comic book*
  • In-game items:
    • Extras in Photo Mode (special pose and face paint)

Despite not having a firm launch date, this is no doubt good news for the PC players. We’ve been patiently waiting to play Aloy’s second adventure in what will at least be a trilogy since February 2022. Luckily, the time between the initial release and the port isn’t as long as that for Horizon Zero Dawn. That game launched more than three years after the PS4 version. The PC port for 2018’s God of War released almost four years after the console version.

That’s what we know about the Horizon Forbidden West PC release date right now. We’ll update this article with more information once Sony releases it. Stay tuned.
