The Elseworld Flash Challenge starts Wednesday, Nov 27th., features a new Flash skin, and a couple of new moves for the Scarlet Speedster.

His new default ability (Bullet Time) gives the Flash’s opponent a speed handicap once Flash’s health drops below 30%. The new Fastest Man Alive Level 2 attack shows off a flurry of lightning quick blows. The Level 1 and Level 3 attacks remain the same as other versions.

Not So Fast!

Like all of the past Challenge Modes, you must complete 63 battles in the games 3 vs 3 combat, culminating in a 3 vs 1 fight against The Elseworld Flash himself.

Each time you win one of the five Challenge Levels, you gain one piece of the Flash’s gear (Gauntlets, Helmet, Logo, Boots and Belt). Collect all five to win the Gold Level Elseworld Flash. But once you complete two Challenge Levels you will also win consolation prizes.

  • Two Levels Complete – Bronze Booster Pack (1 Bronze Card + 2 Booster Cards)
  • Three Levels Complete – 15,000 Coins
  • Four Levels Complete – Silver Booster Pack (1 Silver Card + 2 Booster Cards)

Challenge Mode matches cost Challenge Credits. When the Challenge Mode begins, you will receive 25 free credits. To get more credits, you can earn them in regular bouts or buy them from the Injustice Shop.

And now, Injustice has added Expert Mode! So, if you complete the Standard Mode challenge, you can try again in the harder Expert Mode to win more prizes and even another Flash to fuse or sell.

DC Asks What If?

The Elseworld series allowed DC to create various stories outside of the main comic canon.

Many set DC icons like Batman and Superman in alternate formats or unique storylines, some featuring one-time artists or writers.

This version of the Flash first appeared in Elseworld’s Finest: Supergirl and Batgirl as a member of that universe’s Justice Society. In this universe, Bruce Wayne never became Batman nor Kal-el become Superman.

Waiting In The Wings

Players of Injustice are always on the look out for new Challenge Modes and upcoming prizes. Rumors abound as to which new DC legends will be added to the roster.

Sources are indicating that you should be on the look out for Martian Manhunter, Mortal Kombat’s Scorpion, and John Stewart’s Green Lantern in the coming months.

Black Friday? How About Blue and Red!

The Injustice Shop just added a special Man of Steel Pack for 330,000 coins. This special pack includes Man of Steel Superman and Man of Steel Zod. That’s 440,000 coins worth of Gold Level characters!
