Injustice: Gods Among Us had previously been confirmed as being released within the month of April, but now we have the specific date of April 16. The game will be available on Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and Wii U.
The game is also confirmed to have a new edition on release. This Battle Edition will be available on both 360 and PS3 at the price of $149.99 and will be shipping to GameStop and EB Games stores in both the United States and in Canada. The Battle Edition will include DLC skins for Wonder Woman, Batman, and Superman to represent them in-game as the big three DC heroes appear in DC’s new 52 reboot.
The real surprise in this Battle Edition is that it includes an arcade stick controller. This controller brings with it “adjustable illumination” on the joystick and buttons to let the player decide how visible they want their fancy new controller. No word on how high-quality the controller itself is, but it certainly looks good.
