Jagex Brings in Record Earnings of ?£50 million

Jagex is making money and looking to hire. Guess I'm moving to England!

Earlier today, Jagex announced that it has had its best year to date. As the largest independent games developer and publisher in the UK, you’d expect the company to be raking in the dough. For a lot of gamers out there, it won’t come as a surprise that Jagex managed to bring in £50 million.

2013 is proving to be bigger than expected for the company.

The company has already developed and self-published over 40 online titles, but this year those games seem to be skyrocketing. Of course, you’d be hard-pressed to find a gamer who hasn’t heard of RuneScape, the company’s most notable game.

But if you keep up with what’s happening at the British company, you know there are a lot of highly anticipated games in the works. More specifically, Transformers Universe, which is coming to browsers in 2013.

Thanks to the piles of money the company has earned, it is actually looking to hire.

Yes, that’s right gamers. There is actually a company out there that is looking to hire, not fire. And Jagex looks like the place to go. It has an excellent reputation as a workplace and comes highly recommended. This can be hard to find in a company, especially when you are just starting to break into the gaming industry.

So if you are willing to relocate to Cambridge, England and you have the expertise, go apply to work for Jagex. Don’t believe me? Go check out their staff page and decide for yourself.

I’m telling you, this is the company to grow with.
