We’re coming up to two years since Judgment first launched on PS4. Released in 2019, this Yakuza spin-off took us back to the streets of Kamurocho, playing lawyer-turned-detective Takayuki Yagami.

Weaving a tale of murder and mystery, we thought it was excellent, giving it 9/10 stars. Now, Sega have confirmed Judgment Remastered is in the works. Launching on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Google Stadia April 23, 2021, for $39.99.

Sega also revealed that the game will feature some refined visuals at 60fps, alongside improved loading times. The release also comes with the previous DLC, which admittedly doesn’t amount to much more than a girlfriend present pack and battle pack, but it’s still nice to have it included nonetheless.

Sadly, the release doesn’t appear to have a free upgrade for PS4 owners, meaning that unlike Yakuza: Like A Dragon, PS5 players who previously purchased it will need to do so again if they want Judgment: Remastered

We’ll keep you informed with any further developments on Judgment, so stay tuned.
