On one side, you’ve got the Baldeans. They’re essentially the “good guys” here. The Baldeans protect the sacred sword Langrisser from the forces of Chaos (literally, that’s his name) seeking to re-ignite the wars of the gods and destroy the land.

As we said in our upcoming Nintendo Switch games preview, Langrisser sets itself apart in important ways from its genre-friends by introducing one key component: player choice. How you interact with friend and foe alike, plus the decisions you make on your journey, determine how your timeline develops and can turn erstwhile enemies into bosom companions.

We still don’t know exactly when Langrisser I & II remake will hit the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 in spring 2020, but stay tuned to GameSkinny for more Langrisser news as NISA magics it up.
