Perhaps you remember the third new class coming in Aion 4.0. Not the Bard, not the Gunner, but the other one. Oh, you don’t? Well that’s probably because it wasn’t announced yet. But it is now!
Surely you remember this.
In our first look at 4.0, I mentioned how it looked like someone riding a mech. Big surprise! It turns out it is.
Enter Armored Castle!
According to MMO Culture, the Korean name is Armored Castle, and boy does it look it.
It’s fairly safe to assume that Bards will be a Priest sub-class, Gunners will be a Scout sub-class, and this (super cool) mech rider will be a Warrior sub-class. Will they be more tank than DPS, or the other way around? Who knows, but I’m betting on them being more tanky than anything else. What other purpose would a mechanized warrior have in the world of Atreia? Damage? Pfft.
Aion 4.0 is on the horizon. Korea will be getting it in a few weeks. I can’t wait to see what else is in store in this huge update.
