In For the Love of God your task is to judge people based on the Ten Commandments as to whether they’re allowed entry to heaven or not. People will head up to your desk where they expect to be judged. You take a look at their life history on the scroll they hand to you and then check it against the commandments.

If a person violated the Ten Commandments then you need to pull the lever on the left to send them down to the gates of hell, no matter how much they weep or even how much you may like them. However, if they’ve stuck by the commandments then you can pull the cord on the right and grant them entry the pearly gates of heaven.

It’s not just the people above you’re judging, but you are being judged as well.. by God. If you let someone pass who isn’t allowed through there’ll be consequences  Who knows what kind of things a God can do to you?  Hit the comments below if you’re gonna check this out!

This game is in no way related to the Papers, Please development team. It’s made by a team of TU students during a 24-hour hackathon. They have made a few bug fixes and added polish since the hackathon release, but most of the principal development occurred in those initial 24 hours.

You can download the game for free over on itch.io.
