It’s safe to say after the massive success Grand Theft Auto V (GTA V) was, even at the latter stages of a long console generation, that we were all expecting GTA V to come out on Xbox One, PS4, and PC. As we already know the Xbox One and PS4 versions of GTA V are out on the 18th November, and the PC version is coming on the 27th January. We know Rockstar is adding a lot of new features (for more information on what they are adding see here).
What we didn’t know is that a Limited Edition Soundtrack in also coming out
When phrases like “Limited Edition” or “Special Edition” are thrown about you often think, “oh so it will just cost more, but everyone can still get it. Right?” Well for once you will be mistaken, as only 5,000 units will be shipped worldwide. Unfortunately we do not currently know the price.
What does the soundtrack include?
Well for one, it will includes lots of songs – 59 to be exact. All from the radio stations of GTA V, but the limited edition soundtrack will also include the original score, and discover the mysteries of “other incredible music featured in Grand Theft Auto V.”
There are also going to be two versions, a CD version and a Vinyl version.
CD version:
This will include three disks, a gold bullion shaped USB Flash Drive, artwork for GTA V and a poster.
Vinyl Version:
This will include 6 vinyl records, a full colour booklet (my guess it will have some artwork), and an exclusive lithograph poster (which is akin to a painting).
The limited edition soundtrack is due on the 9th December.
