Magrunner Dark Pulse has officially launched on PC. It is an action/physics based game from Frogwares studio. In honor of the game’s release, the studio put together an awesome trailer. Based on the trailer, I’d say the game is sort of like portal with a bit of a dark twist.
The game takes place in 2048, where a corporation has taken some gifted people and given them the chance to train with what they call Magtech, for a space exploration mission. Of course something goes horribly wrong in the training areas, and the player will have to navigate through a large area, solving all sorts of puzzles along the way. The player will descend into a rather real hell, and lead them to a confrontation with Cthulhu. It certainly seems like they have merged technology with the Cthulhu mythology.
Magrunner Dark Pulse is available currently on PC, and will launch on Xbox Live and Playstation Network in September.
