Gazillion Entertainment and Secret Identity Studios are the developers behind the new Marvel Heroes MMO. They are doing a special open beta run this weekend in honor of the theatrical opening of Iron Man 3.
During previous beta events, players were able to choose from Daredevil, Storm, Thing, Hawkeye, or Scarlet Witch for free, but this weekend, since Iron Man 3 is opening, players can choose to play as Iron Man himself! The other Marvel Heroes available this weekend are Black Widow, Thor, Captain America, and the Hulk.
In order to get access to the open beta, you will have to sign up here. After that, it will be clear sailing. Players will have access to the game starting Friday, May 3rd at 7:00PM PST until Monday, May 6th at 10:00AM PST.
There’s nothing that’s more likely to get me into a game than giving me the ability to play Thor. I’m going to set some time away from Neverwinter and WoW’s Children’s Week this weekend to bust open some baddies in Marvel Heroes as Thor with the might of Mjolnir.
