In a move that honestly shouldn’t surprise anyone who knows how the triple-A gaming world works, Konami has officially confirmed that Metal Gear Solid V will be receiving a re-release that comes packaged with all of the game’s DLC. MGSV: Definitive Edition will cost £34.99 in the UK and looks set to be the perfect version of the game for anyone who passed on it the first time.

It will be released on PS4, Xbox One, and PC on October 14th. Aside from the original Phantom Pain that was released back in 2015, it will also include the prologue game, Ground Zeroes, that came out in 2014. There will also be additional DLC content (weapons, costumes etc.), including Ground Zeroes‘ Deja Vu and Jamais Vu missions, which were originally console exclusive. Finally, for those that actually play Metal Gear Online, the bundle comes with that game’s ‘Cloaked in Silence’ expansion pack too, along with a variety of Appeal Packs.

MGSV continues the adventures of Solid Snake’s predecessor, Big Boss, and was the last game to be worked on by series creator Hideo Kojima; who has since created his own studio and is working on a new game, Death Stranding, with Norman Reedus seemingly starring as the protagonist.
