If you’ve been looking for more on Mighty No. 9, look no further! New footage shown during the Game Developer’s Convention is up on the internet. You can see from the video above that the game is coming along nicely.
The footage itself is in early Alpha. We’re shown two separate areas with Beck blasting stuff, and descriptions of the Mighty Numbers. Mighty No. 9 really shows off how far gaming has come. Taking old-school platforming and new-school technology and throwing them both into one game, it really looks nice.
I’m impressed with the work that Keiji Inafune and Comcept have put into this game. Let’s not forget the theme song by Manami Matsume that plays during the video as well. I can’t wait to see more footage as Mighty No. 9 gets closer to launch. This is shaping up to be a really exciting game. Leave a comment below with your thoughts on the footage.
