More Details Come to Light for Child of Light

Ubisoft's new game looks absolutely incredible, especially with the new information available about it.

The Kingdom of Lemuria is in danger. The Black Queen is in possession of the sun, moon, and stars, bathing the land in darkness and night. Playing as the pure-of-heart Princess Aurora (not Sleeping Beauty), you must take them back.

Ubisoft’s Child of Light looks to have all the makings of an incredible game. You battle monsters and explore the land, trying to recover the Stolen Lights. Igniculus, Princess Aurora’s firefly companion, can fight alongside you in turn-based combat. A co-op mode is available in which Igniculus becomes a playable character for a friend.

The game looks beautiful. The art is engaging, the story seems motivating, and I can’t wait to get my hands on it. I mean, seriously, watch the trailer. It gives me chills every time.

This just in!

As well as being available on the Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PC, Child of Light will also be on the Wii U eShop. So all you Nintendo-lovers out there will be able to get your hands on the game, too.

If all goes according to plan, Child of Light should be releasing in 2014. I know I want it.
