Mortal Kombat X has been a huge success in the months since its launch with a steady stream of new paid and free content to keep things fresh. It sold in huge numbers despite suffering major issues on PC and fighting a slew of character exploits. NetherRealm Studios has been quick to fix every problem that popped up as quickly as possible. Now they are jumping back to work to fix an all new issue, this time with DLC character Predator.
The third post-launch DLC character to hit Mortal Kombat X, Predator was supposed to land this week. Free for Kombat Pack owners on PS4, Xbox One, and PC players were excited for the latest edition to the roster. Now that Predator has landed players have jumped into fun, except for Xbox One owners. They have taken to game forums all over the web to report they either can’t download the character or it doesn’t appear in the roster after the download.
NetherRealm was quick to put out a response on the official Mortal Kombat forums. Community manager Tyler Lansdown hopped on to confirm that Kombat Pack owners on Xbox One were having an issue with the Predator download. Although he didn’t give a reason about what was causing the problem, all he would say is that they were looking into it.
“We’re aware that Xbox One owners who have purchased the Kombat Pack currently do not have access to the Mortal Kombat X Predator Bundle. We are working to identify and fix the issue as soon as possible. Thanks for your patience in this matter.”
This leaves Xbox One owners to sit and wait for their chance to join in the fun of Predator’s fatalities; hopefully the wait won’t be long.
