Neverwinter Open Beta Launches for Everyone Tomorrow!

Yes, another reminder. I'm excited, deal with it.

Neverwinter is finally opening to the public tomorrow (Tuesday), and it’s my job as resident excited writer to remind you. Time to rev up those downloads!

The open beta will be opening its doors at 9AM PDT (12PM EDT) tomorrow. If you’re looking to get in as soon as the game becomes available, the game is up for download on the official site. Direct download and torrent options are available.

If you want to try the game out before you put any money into it — as I hope any smart consumer would do, you sly dog — the current Founder’s Packs do not look like they will be available once the open beta begins, or at least their availability will be restricted to a short term after launch. The Extended FAQ on the forums states:

The current Founder’s pack offers are for a limited time. When Open Beta begins, the Founder’s Packs, as they currently exist, will no longer be available. We will have many of the items available, of course, but pricing and certain exclusive item availability will change. So act now!

A couple of the Neverwinter streamers I watched this weekend claimed the packs would be available post-open beta launch for a short time, but after some forum-scouring I have not seen any official source claiming that to be the case.

(PS. I recommend downloading before open beta goes live, as even the torrent download option isn’t particularly fast.

PPS. MMODen is streaming the game again today, in case you want to take a look before you dive in.)
