Ubisoft disclosed new gameplay footage for its upcoming release, Assassin’s Creed: Unity.

This time our favorite somersaulting assailant has an angry look on his face, and blood and guts all over his scabbard. We hear Arno, this installment’s assassin, narrating the video describing his motivations for joining the Revolution

Featuring an angrier protagonist, a far smoother parkour system, and superior visuals, Unity is shaping up to be the best we’ve seen out of Ubisoft Montreal.

The fact that the video does little more than others before leads me to believe that it is like the cookie in front of the treadmill, and Ubisoft is holding the platter. 

They know how much gamers want this game, and now they’re just being cruel.

Assassin’s Creed: Unity releases on all current-gen systems October 28. Preorder at your preferred retailer to obtain access to a unique weapon when the game releases.
