The racing game genre has experienced something of an evolution on current-gen consoles, as unbelievably realistic simulators like Project CARS become ever more popular. And while it’s been available on PC for some time now, Assetto Corsa will soon be joining the ranks of racing sims on current-gen consoles. The newest trailer for the game, developed by KUNOS Simulazioni and published on console by 505 Games, showcases some of the legendary real-world tracks featured in the game, and the meticulous laser-scanning process that brings them to life.

The two-minute trailer shows tracks like Silverstone, Spa Francorchamps, Monza, and Germany’s grueling Nurburgring-Nordschleife in action. The trailer promises “the highest level of accuracy” when it comes to these legendary courses, and it shows. Every inconsistency — bumps, slopes, and so on — is reflected through the laser-scanning process, resulting in an unquestionably realistic driving experience. Other factors, such as rubber deposits from tire wear, the time of day, and even the track temperature also add to the pervasive sense of realism.

Pre-ordering the game through GameStop will earn players the “Prestige Pack” that features 9 cars, including the 2015 Nissan GT-R Nismo, the Chevrolet C7 Stingray, the 2015 Ford Mustang, and the Audi R8 V10 Plus, among others. The game is slated for release on August 30th for $49.99.
