Inti announced that they are bringing the 8-bit 3DS crossover game, The Mighty Gunvolt, to PS4 and Vita under a new trial called Gal Gunvolt. The game is a direct port of of the original game, which was only available on the 3DS eshop. The game released with one of the game’s series: Azure Stricker Gunvolt.

Players may recognize Mighty No. 9’s protagonist Beck, as well as Azure Sticker Gunvolt’s, Gunvolt but also joining the roster is Gun Gal’s angel Ekoro.

Gun Gal’s Ekoro in action!

Each of the character have their own unique play style that is similar to the games that they debued in. Beck can dash through enemies, while Gunvolt can freeze them in place and rapid fire.

Don’t let the size fool you! Beck still packs a mighty punch!

Gal Gunvolt will play like a more traditional Mega Man game with a few twists here and there. It will also include four extra stages (Factory, Lab, Gym, and Highway) that were originally DLC for the Mighty Gunvolt.

The game is set for release in Japan on August 6th, 2015 for the Playstation 4 and Vita. No word on whether it will hit the states, but at the rate Mighty No. 9 is growing, I expect to see it around the holiday season.

What do you guys think? Does this game look cool? Is Beck getting too big too fast? Should Inafune slow down with all the Mega Man clones? Let me know in th comments below!
