PlayStation Europe announced today that the Limited Edition Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain PlayStation 4, first announced for Asia back in March, will indeed be heading to other shores, namely Europe, Australia, and New Zealand.
Inspired by Snake’s Bionic Arm in the game, the limited edition red-and-black PS4 with gold trim also comes with a special metallic grey DualShock 4 Wireless Controller inspired by Snake’s handgun. Both the PS4 and DualShock 4 feature the insignia of Snake’s private military organization, Diamond Dogs.
The limited edition PS4 and DualShock 4 will be bundled with the Day One Edition of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, which includes bonus downloadable content such as a Blue Urban Fatigues Outfit, Adam-ska Special Revolver, and a Wetland Cardboard Box.
The limited edition bundle and another bundle that only includes a Jet Black PS4 and DualShock 4 as well as the Day One Edition will be released on 1st September along with the standalone game, which will be released on PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360, and PC.
No word yet as to whether the limited edition bundle will be released in other regions such as the USA.
