The new Neverwinter trailer doesn’t show off what players are actually going to be doing in-game, but it certainly does give a nice preview of violent eye candy.

The trailer surfaced on Gamestar (click through to watch), a German tech and media site. All of the dialogue (and I assume undead groans) is in English, along with German subtitles — so don’t worry about the language barrier here.

Neverwinter is being developed by Cryptic Studios, the developer behind Star Trek Online; and is being published by Perfect World Entertainment later this year. The closed beta will be taking place over the weekend, starting on February 8.

If you’re interested in getting into the beta, you can head over to the official site to register for a chance for a beta key. If you are really set on the game, you can invest in the Founder’s Pack or the Guardian of Neverwinter Pack, both of which guarantee beta access and provide some nice items for use when the game launches.
