In Fire Emblem Fates, the player is compelled to choose a side in the oncoming war.  They can fight for the peace-loving Hoshido Kingdom in Birthright, or they can fight for the expansion of the power scheming Nohr Kingdom in Conquest.

Or, in the third path scenario of the game, Invisible Kingdom, the player can choose neither side.  What results is a storyline that diverges completely from those of Birthright and Conquest, involving neither the Hoshido Kingdom nor the Nohr Kingdom.

Invisible Kingdom depicts the player character’s arduous journey and struggles under the guidance of the songstress Aqua.

This path inevitably leads them to the battle at the “Kingdom of Transparent Demons.”

The level of difficulty will be somewhere in between Birthright and Conquest, and the maps will have many gimmicks. Training of characters will be identical to the system in Birthright in its high degree of freedom.

Western Fire Emblem fans will still have to wait until 2016 for international localization, but there is a lot to look forward to.
