Square Enix’s highly anticipated Nier Replicant ver. 1.22474487139… is almost here. While fans still have to wait a few days to get their hands on the game, the developer has dropped a new trailer showing off some of the extra content they can expect to come along with the remaster.
And a lot of it is Nier: Automata related.

Leading things off is an additional episode that will be available to players after making it through the game. The episode is called “Mermaid” and features a brand new boss battle. Alongside that, there will also be 15 extra dungeons added in, which players will be able to complete and acquire unique weapons and costumes.
Players can unlock the Nier: Automata soundtrack following an initial playthrough and can switch between either that soundtrack or the remake’s soundtrack during subsequent runs. There will also be guest appearances from cast members of Nier: Automata; both the English and Japanese voice actors of 2B and 9S will be in the game.
But that’s not all. Players will also be able to download a free costume pack on release day to swap character costumes and weapon designs to favorites from Nier: Automata.
