Hot on the heels of the SNES Classic Mini, Nintendo has revealed an SNES-themed New Nintendo 3DS XL, adding to the library of collectible systems in the 3DS family. The system is an Amazon exclusive and is set for release on November 27, Cyber Monday. If you’re interested, you can head over to Amazon to pre-order it now.

The handheld’s aesthetic aims to almost-perfectly recreate the look of the original SNES, complete with purple Power and Reset sliders. The bottom also has the system information and bar-code close to where it was on the SNES itself. The inside mirrors the North American SNES controller, with the two shades of purple for the buttons being the most noticeable.

The SNES New 3DS XL comes with a download code for Super Mario Kart, highlighting one of the New 3DS’s major features: the Virtual Console. This feature lets you play select Super Nintendo games, including Super Mario World, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, and Earthbound.

As of this writing, there is no word if the system will be available through other retailers, but we’ll update accordingly once any information is released.
