Over 70 indie games are appearing in this years IndieCade Festival. Great games like Axiom Verge, Kerbal Space Program, and more will be shown during the event. 36 of these 70 games have also been nominated for the IndieCade awards. These nominations have been picked over a range of indie video games as well as tabletop and card games.

Stephanie Barish, Chief Executive Officer of IndieCade, said:

“The Official Selection are an esstialial part of the IndieCade Festival. They let us push boundaries and demonstrate some experimental, adventurous and surprising games.”

The games shown at IndieCade Festival will be broken up into mutable categories. These are Digital Games, eSports, Night Games, Virtual Reality, Tabletop, and Big Games.

IndieCade is an event that supports independent game developers around the globe through a series of international events that highlights the artistic and diverse nature of emerging independent community’s. They are dedicated to discovering and developing independent artists and developers around the world. IndieCade Festival is a three-day conference that is known as the “Sundance of the video game industry.” It is being held in Culver City, California this year on the weekend of October 22th.
