Paper Mario Stage Revealed for Super Smash Bros 3DS

A Paper Mario stage is coming to Super Smash Bros. for 3DS this October.

More details from the latest installment in the Super Smash Bros. franchise have started to become public. Nintendo announced on Wednesday that Super Smash Bros. for 3DS will include a stage based on another one of the company’s hit series, Paper Mario.

While the information is currently limited, Nintendo revealed that the stage will fittingly transform by the flip of a page. The two released screenshots reveale scenes from Paper Mario: Sticker Star and Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door.

It is unsurprising that Nintendo would continue to feature the series. The original Paper Mario recently became available on the Wii’s virtual console, and is currently available as a reward through Club Nintendo up until August 3rd.

It is currently unclear whether or not the stage will also be available in the game’s Wii U version. The 3DS version will be released on October 3rd in North America and Europe, while the Wii U version is more loosely scheduled for a holiday release.
