Meet the Newest PAX: PAX South

Penny Arcade has announced a new PAX event, PAX South, to help meet demand for it’s popular gaming event series, the Penny Arcade Expo.

“Seattle and Boston events represent the two largest gaming festivals in North America. We’ve been hearing for years that those in the south had a tough time making it to the northern corners of the country; PAX South has always been a matter of ‘when’ rather than ‘if.'”

– Robert Khoo, President – Penny Arcade

The newest addition rounds out the locations as well as the schedule, giving gamers a PAX in every season.

  • PAX South: Winter
  • PAX East: Spring
  • PAX Prime: Summer
  • PAX Australia: Fall

While official information is still scarce, signs point to the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center as the most likely location. Tickets are not yet on sale for PAX South, but with sales trends putting 3 day passes at sell out in a matter of minutes to hours in 2013 and 2014 for the other USA location of PAX, they’re likely to be hotly anticipated and hard to get ahold of.
