This is the fifth Ace Attorney game to make its way West over the years, but is the first 3DS game in the series to make its way over. The trailer above shows just how far the visuals have come from the origins of the series.

While this is all great news, fans may be disappointed that this release will be digital-only, meaning there will be no boxed release in either North America or Europe. This is a necessary concession considering the lack of wide appeal of the series. A downloadable release is better than nothing at all!

Fans of the series and of this style of game should be sure to nab Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Dual Destinies off of the Nintendo eShop later this year. Your support means everything in ensuring the survival of these games in the West!
