Aside from announcing a VR component for No Man’s Sky and the dungeon-crawler adventure game Ready, Set Heroes, the State of Play showed off some of the newest content coming to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation VR.

Below is a rundown of the titles shown during the event, along with their release dates:

  • Blood and Truth (May 28) for Playstation VR
  • Concrete Genie (Fall; includes PSVR functionality)
  • Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled (June 21)
  • Days Gone (April 26)
  • Everybody’s Golf VR (May 21)
  • Falcon Age (April 9)
  • Five Nights at Freddy’s VR: Help Wanted (Spring)
  • Jupiter & Mars (April 23)
  • Marvel’s Iron Man VR (2019)
  • MiniMech Mayhem (June 19)
  • Mortal Kombat 11 (April 23)
  • Observation (May 21)
  • Trover Saves the Universe (May 31)
  • Table of Tales (April 16)
  • Vacation Simulator (June 18)

The stream event has been met with some criticism on social media and on YouTube for its heavy focus on Playstation VR titles, as well as a general lack of reveals of brand new, major PlayStation 4 titles. Some have also lamented that the oft-rumored PlayStation 5 was not teased during the event.

However, others have come to Sony’s defense, with many applauding the format and the focus on games.

Last year, Sony said that it would be skipping E3 in 2019, and it has been expected that the company will hold a larger streaming event in place of an E3 press conference.

If that is the case, it’s possible that Sony may be holding on to any major announcements for that potential stream. However, as of this writing, it is unknown when or if such an event will occur.

Sony has confirmed that there will be more State of Play broadcasts in the future, but the company did not specify when or what would be shown.
