The PlayStation VR headset will sport a 5.7″ OLED screen with 1080p and a 120hz refresh rate. So when you’re playing your game, the lag between your head movement and action on screen will be heavily reduced. For the player wearing the headset, they’ll get a full field of vision of the game environment. The VR machine will provide a 100 degree view, allowing the player to see as much as possible.

Positional tracking is also supported by 9 LEDs which compliments the 360 degree head tracking. Every movement your head makes can be mirrored inside the game. In addition to the fantastic visuals and movement tracking PlayStation VR provides, 3D audio is also included to immerse the player into the game.

The VR set will be available in the first half of 2016.
