Online Bank

With Pokémon Bank, you will be able to link up online to your own storage box. If you were to lose you copy of Pokémon X or Y, then as long as your Pokémon have been uploaded to a Pokémon Bank Box, you will still have all your Pokémon. Just re-download them when you get a new Pokémon X or Y game!

Moving Pokémon

In past Pokémon games you had to have two game systems and transfer Pokémon one at a time. With Pokémon Bank, you can move multiple Pokémon at a time, and you can do it from your 3DS. Pokémon Bank even has a search function that lets you find the Pokémon you want to transfer more quickly.

What’s Poke Transporter?

When you download Pokémon Bank, you can also download Poke Transporter. Poke Transporter is free and will let you transfer Pokémon from Pokémon Black, Pokémon White, Pokémon Black 2 and Pokémon White 2 and then put them into their own online box. Then you can transfer them to your Pokémon X or Y game!

What gamers should be careful about is that once they use the Poke Transporter app to transfer their Pokémon to Pokémon X or Y, they can NOT get them back to their original games! Once a Pokémon is transferred to their online box they can not be put back in Pokémon Black, Pokémon White, Pokémon Black 2 or Pokémon White 2. So be careful with your Pokémon!
