The focus of the event will be the Special Research aptly titled A Mystic Hero. During this Special Research you will be directly aiding Blanche as she works to learn more about Pokemon evolution. The reward for completing it will be a Lapras with a Blanche accessory, and it can also be Shiny. This is the only way to encounter a Blanche accessory-adorned Lapras this season.

A Mystic Hero event will reward you two guaranteed Candy XL and double XP when you evolve Pokemon.

To help you gather enough candy for evolutions, Lure Modules will last three hours. Field Research will also highlight evolving Pokemon and reward Stardust and Evolution Items when completed.

A special Timed Research will be available that will award a Magnetic Lure Module for completion. While a Magnetic Lure causes certain Steel and Electric Pokemon to spawn, such as Pikachu and Aron, it also allows you to evolve Magneton, Nosepass, and Charjabug.

More details are sure to emerge as the A Mystic Hero event gets closer so stay tuned for our full event guide. In the meantime, if you need help with completing the 2023 Spring Collection or catching a Kecleon, head to our Pokemon GO guides page
